What is The Designer Edit Marketplace? The Designer Edit Marketplace is a peer-to-peer platform where users can buy and sell authentic designer items. We’re not a consignment store — we simply provide the space for stylish individuals to connect and shop directly with one another.
Are you affiliated with any of the designer brands listed? No. The Designer Edit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with any of the designer brands featured. All trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.
Do you store or ship items? No, we don’t hold or ship any items. All sales are handled directly between the buyer and the seller.
How do I know if a product is authentic? Items authenticated by The Designer Edit will have an authentication badge shown in the images (usually as the last image) and will be clearly noted in the product description.

Can I request authentication before buying? Yes — if a product hasn’t been authenticated yet, you can request authentication through The Designer Edit at your own expense before completing your purchase.
Can I return a product? Returns are at the seller’s discretion. The Designer Edit does not process returns, so we recommend reviewing listings carefully and messaging the seller before purchase.
Can I request more information about a listing? Absolutely! You can message the seller directly from the listing page to ask for more photos, details, or clarification.
How do I list an item? After signing up, click “Create a Listing” and follow the prompts to upload your item, add details, and set your price. All items will be shown on the marketplace once approved.
Do I need to authenticate my item before listing? No — but we highly recommend authenticating your item through The Designer Edit. Listings with authentication are more likely to sell and are marked with an official authentication badge, giving buyers added confidence.
By listing an item, am I confirming it’s authentic? Yes. By listing an item on The Designer Edit Marketplace, you are acknowledging and declaring that it is authentic. We have zero tolerance for counterfeit or replica items. If an item is found to be fake, it will be removed immediately and the seller’s account will be suspended or permanently banned.
What can I sell? You can list pre-owned, authentic designer items such as handbags, shoes, accessories, and select ready-to-wear pieces. Counterfeit, replica, or misrepresented items are strictly prohibited.
Can my listing be removed? Yes. If we suspect an item is counterfeit or misrepresented, we may remove it or ask for additional proof of authenticity. Failure to respond or provide valid proof may result in your listing being permanently removed and your account suspended.
Is The Designer Edit responsible for purchases? No. We are a neutral platform and are not responsible for the accuracy, delivery, or quality of any product sold. Buyers and sellers are fully responsible for their transactions.
How do I know who I’m buying from? We encourage users to communicate through the platform before purchasing. Sellers may also build trust through reviews and authentication.
What happens if I receive a fake? If the item was authenticated through The Designer Edit and later deemed inauthentic, contact us immediately. For unauthenticated purchases, The Designer Edit is not liable, but we encourage users to report any suspected counterfeits.
